Engineering Data for Steel Pipe Fittings

This application provides the weight and volume of the fluid in contact with the fitting for the most common steel pipe fittings and some not so common. Data is given for elbows, tees, crosses, flanges, orifice flanges, reducers, caps, returns, saddles, laterals and lap joint stub ends.

Stud bolt dimensions are given along with other data for flanges. The length includes at least one thread exposed on each side of the nut. Bolt length is given in ¼” increments.

The fitting weight and volume are derived from the pipe size and wall thickness (when necessary) that the user selects for the particular fitting of interest.

Dimensions are compliant with ANSI B16.47 and ANSI B16.5.

Weight and volume can vary dependent on the manufacturing process and the amount of material required by the branch stress analysis.

This app does not provide any stress analysis on branches or other connections.
